BLOWLAMP SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP

The Blowlamp Society was organized in 1992 with the goals of preserving the history of blowlamps, primarily from Great Britain and Europe, promoting collecting knowledge, and introducing collectors to one another.  In its newsletter, BLOWLAMP NEWS the organization published hundreds of pages of information about LAMPS and their makers. In 2019 the newspaper published its final issue.

The Society has about a hundred members, most from the UK as well as members in Canada, Australia, Spain, USA, Brazil, France and Germany, Scotland, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, and other countries.  As with any organization or antique group,the Society’s members come from all walks of life, with collectors ranging from beginners to very experienced, and with collections large and small.
